Sleepin' Conference Branding

The Sleepin’ conference, playing on the phrase “sleep in”, is about educating the general public on the topic of sleep at large. Through formal and informal lectures, interactive events, and industry exhibitons, Sleepin’ aims to create a fun learning environment that would raise public interest within a traditionally medical field. Sleepin’ was made to be intentionally written with and designed using informal language, bright colours, and more playful type to differentiate itself from previously identified conferences within the same field.

Extra Considerations

To make learning as accessible as possible, the booklet, as the main line of day-of-event communication, had to reflect accessible design principles. Type and colour choices are bold and colourful, scheduling is colour-coordinated, booklet content is spaced and compartmentalized into sections, and note-taking pages are included to inspire interactive education.
